Do I need a large layout?
One layout and one locomotive are enough to begin. You can add more trains, accessories and routes as you go, without planning everything at once.
Can I use the equipment I already own?
Check Compatibility for your exact equipment before buying anything. DCC-EX EX-CommandStation is the first planned command-station integration, but physical Rail Deck bridge support is not available yet. We can’t confirm that your existing equipment will work until it has been verified.
What would I need to get started?
The planned setup brings together your screen, a Rail Deck bridge, a supported command station and a train on your layout. The setup guide explains what each part does and how they fit together.
Can I try Rail Deck now?
We’re preparing an invitation-only Alpha, an early version for invited users. Rail Deck isn’t open for general registration or purchase yet, and there is no public waiting list. Availability is the place to check for the current access information.
