When you email Rail Deck
Email links open your email application. Your email provider handles the message you choose to send; this website does not send it or collect a copy through a contact form. Include only the information needed for your question or report.
Rail Deck uses Krystal to host its support and security mailboxes. We use the information you send to answer your enquiry, help with an accessibility issue or handle a security report.
How long we keep emails
Our policy is to keep support and security emails while we deal with your enquiry or report, then for up to 12 months after it is closed. This helps us handle follow-up questions and recurring problems. We remove information sooner when we no longer need it.
Spam is deleted within 30 days. If an active investigation or legal obligation requires particular information to be kept longer, we keep only what is needed and review that decision at least every 90 days.
Email backups
Krystal’s Trinity plan includes daily email backups, keeping 31 saved versions for recovery. A deleted message may remain in a backup until that saved version is replaced. Any restored mail must follow the same retention policy.
Hosting and server records
Your browser sends our server your IP address and request details so it can deliver the pages and images you choose to open. This website is hosted on an IONOS server in the UK.
Routine website access logs are switched off. Essential server and firewall records may include IP addresses when there is a fault or a blocked connection. We do not add website analytics or advertising trackers.
